The thing about her
is I’ve known
and studied and
memorized and lectured on her
typography, the form of,
the shape of her
speeches and quips
and words and even her
punctuation, seen
what the whole of her
brain looks like
pressed into paper.
But now:
need to first feel
the surface and
produce a
color-code
mapping her topography,
the subtle slopes and hollows
of her back and of her front,
while reciting an essay
on what happens
when you pierce her skin
and peel it back to reveal her tart apple flesh.
